Here is a second double page spread draft. I prefer this one as it's very similar to an actual NME double page spread.

Here is my first draft of my double page spread. I like the theme of black, white and blue. I have included who the photograph was taken by.

NME Double Page Spread

This is an NME Double Page Spread, I will use this as inspiration when creating and designing my double page spread. I like the big text used for the header as well as the two different colours used to enhance the importance of particular words throughout the header. On this double page spread, NME have kept a constant theme throughout using white, greys/greens and blacks. NME have not used a drop cap at the beginning of the whole article however they have used a drop cap towards the end of the article. This is not conventional, it's different and that's what my/their audience like.
